Frequently Asked Questions
We are happy to assist our International Students Residents!
When the application asks you for your employer, enter your work information. If you are a student and you are not working, you may simply fill in the following information:
Employer: Your University
Supervisor: Your Email address
When it asks for your SSN, put 111-11-1111
For previous addresses, you may use your actual previous addresses, even if they are outside the United States. It thinks you are putting a U.S. address so it asks for the State. Simply put MA if you are applying to live in Massachusetts or RI if you are applying to live in Rhode Island.
It is important for you to show proof of ability to pay. If you are going to pay your rent using your savings, submit a bank statement. If you have a sponsor (university, stipend/scholarship, parent), please submit the sponsorship information.
Please also include your i-20 visa, a copy of your passport, and a copy of your acceptance letter to your university (and your job if you have one).

"I moved from France for one year and I lived at GradBnB in Waltham. I was happy to rent a private bedroom with an individual lease because I didn't know anyone. I moved into a great apartment, made new friends, and enjoyed being part of the GradBnB community. I would definitely recommend GradBnB!"
"I lived at 139 Adams Street and I loved it! The place is in an awesome location: Moody Street with all the restaurants, shops and bars is literally right across the street. The management team is super helpful and they are very fast at helping with whatever the tenants would need. When I was searching for a place to stay in Waltham I loved 139 Adams and moved in the very next day after my showing. The house is very big and all the rooms are fully furnished and renovated. There’s laundry in the house, dishwasher in every apartment and centralized AC. If you are a working professional this place is a real gem!"
"I moved from Spain to Waltham about 4 months ago and I found the apartment through Facebook before coming, thanks to GradBnB. I had no problem and they received me very kindly the day of my arrival. Since I’ve been living in the apartment, they’ve been available for any urgency and need I had."
"I was moving from Philadelphia to Waltham and found GradBnB through Facebook. My experience with GradBnB was awesome, any time I needed anything they were easy to contact, and super helpful! The house came fully furnished with utilities included at an amazing price, and was in a perfect location with lots of fun restaurants, and bars all within walking distance!"
"Everyone at GradBnB who I’ve dealt with has been extremely nice and accommodating and definitely want the best for the tenants. Their properties are the best price you will find for a fully furnished, utilities included apartment in Providence and I would definitely recommend any grad students or young professional look into GradBnB if they are moving to Providence!"
"I have been searching for housing in Providence with similar perks and it does not seem like I can get any better deal. There surely are a lot of cheaper accommodation options, but considering that you provide fully furnished houses, in my opinion, GradBnB offers a great package for the money."
